What exactly is Real Estate CashBack (RECB)?
RECB is a registered housing cooperative that pools member contributions to collectively acquire and resell prime Nigerian real estate. When the property is resold, every contributing member receives their full capital back plus cashback earnings — within 12 months. Managed by Real Estate CashBack Housing Cooperative Society Limited, a subsidiary of Zylus Group International.
How do I become a member?
Complete the RECB membership form (download above or request from our team), submit your valid ID, passport photograph, and utility bill for KYC, then make your contribution directly to the official GTBank cooperative account. You will receive your Deed of Agreement and receipt by email once confirmed.
What is the minimum and maximum contribution?
The minimum contribution is ₦1,000,000. Membership availability is subject to cooperative statutory limits — slots are regulated and limited. Cashback rates vary by contribution tier and are communicated directly at onboarding. Contact our team to confirm current availability.
Can I receive my cashback upfront before maturity?
Yes. You may choose to receive your cashback earnings upfront before the 12-month cycle ends. This option attracts a small reduction on the total cashback amount. Standard payment is at maturity, within 24 hours of the maturity date.
Can I exit before my 12-month cycle ends?
Yes. You may liquidate your position after 3 months. A 17% administrative charge applies after a formal exit request. The cooperative requires 21 days to transfer your position to another member before your capital is returned.
How safe is my contribution?
Contributions are deployed exclusively into real estate projects managed with Zylus Homes & Property Limited. All payments must go to the official GTBank cooperative account only — RECB never accepts payments to personal accounts. Licensed by Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Cooperatives. Reg. No. LSCS 18176.
Is location a barrier to membership?
No. Anyone from any part of Nigeria or the world can become a member of RECB. The entire process — form submission, payment, and documentation — can be completed remotely.
What documents will I receive after contributing?
You will receive: (1) A Deed of Agreement with your property allocation details and contribution amount. (2) A payment receipt as proof of contribution. (3) Optionally, a post-dated cheque — request this in writing at the point of contribution and present at the bank on your maturity date.
